The ''chatras'' symbolizes sovereignty in religion. The image of Buddha rests in the main sanctum inside the temple. The best time to visit this place is from October to March.

Deoghar in Jharkhand, is also known as Baidyanath Dham. It houses 12 Jyotirlinga temples known as temple of Baba Baidyanath. This ancient temple is a famous Hindu religious destination. The legend behind this temple relates Ravana as cutting off his nine heads for repentance and thereby being blessed by Lord Shiva who healed Ravana like a ''vaidya''. There is heavy influx of pilgrims during Mahashivratri.
